Janelle Gingrich-Caudle’s Bio

II Corinthians 1:3-5
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, Who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.  For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.”
From an early age, Janelle recalls having a deep love for Jesus. As she matured, she developed a desire to evangelize the lost, give encouragement to the broken and hope for the poor.  Janelle believes that she can only minister with the comfort she has received from God. Janelle ministers by relating her personal experiences of spiritual and emotional brokenness, abandonment, and the complexities of living with chronic illness/disease. She found that ONLY Jesus offers the answers for personal inner healing and victory. Janelle desires to actively demonstrate this hope to a community who has been marginalized by society; such the he homeless, the addict and the prostitute. Domestic and global relief emergencies are also a concern for Janelle.  In addition to working in urban ministry, Rivers of New Hope offers aide with domestic and international humanitarian crisis issues.

Janelle was born and reared near HersheyPennsylvania.  At age 20, she performed with a Connecticut based, touring Christian singing group, “The New Dawn Singers”.  Two years later, she moved to Nashville,Tennessee where she enjoyed singing with a 40 member choir who performed weekly for TBN’s “Praise the Lord Show.” As a member of another background choir, two of Janelle’s fondest memories were recording for Integrity Music with worship leaders; Bob Fitts and Alvin Slaughter.

In 1998, Janelle was blessed with meeting her precious Romeo, Michael Joseph Caudle. They celebrated their marriage in Nashville on August 7, 1999. After moving to Charlotte, Janelle worked as a free-lance model for the Charlotte based, Stone Agency. Janelle spokes-modeled locally for corporations such as: Godiva Chocolates, Oxygen, Buick, Tamiflu, Hamburger Helper and Sports Illustrated.

In 2001, with the support of her husband, Janelle decided to embark on a major career change. She was delighted to take a position working with homeless women and children through the Salvation Army in CharlotteNC.  One year later, the Lord gave her vision to begin a new work for Charlotte’s homeless community.

In May 2002, Rivers of New Hope Ministries was born! The charity began serving the homeless with providing clothing donations and evangelistic teaching through the Salvation Army. Over the years, the Charity expanded its reach by supplying aide to other evangelistically based, humanitarian relief charities.  Future plans include Janelle’s travel to 3rd World orphanages and villages where she may be of service to the global community. In December 2004, Rivers of New Hope Ministries was given a non-profit approval in order to be recognized as 501c3 Charity.

Janelle has volunteered for many homeless ministries in the cities from where she resided. Traveling with “The New Dawn Singers” she performed for many Salvation Army shelters throughout the United States.  During the summer months, “The New Dawn Singers” performed daily on the boardwalk of Atlantic City. Janelle developed her passion for the homeless, by spending hours speaking with those living on the streets and under the boardwalk.  On a New Dawn trip to MontereyMexico Janelle gained awareness and sensitivity for international poverty issues.

Together with her husband Michael, they are the proud parents of many “furry and feathery” children.
