Evangelistic Celebrations
Romans 2:4 "It is the kindness of God that leads us to repentance."
Evangelism is the primary focus of Rivers of New Hope Ministries. Services are conducted at the Salvation Army Center of Hope in Charlotte, NC. The evening includes: worship, testimonials, and an invitation for the residents to receive Jesus as Savior and Lord. Our service continues informally with the disbursement of Bibles, clothing and other collected items. All items are given free of charge. Volunteers assist residents with all aspects of donation distribution in addition to loving the little ones and ministering Biblical counsel and personal prayer.
Clothing and Goods Ministry
Matthew 25:36~ "I was naked and you clothed Me."
Donations of new and gently used apparel are desperately needed for all functions of the ministry. We gratefully receive seasonal clothing, coats, stuffed animals, blankets, toiletries, first aid supplies, shoes. Lovely silk flowers, especially stems are appreciated for "Janelle’s Flower Cart." Acceptable donations should be clean and in usable condition. This Charity desires to bless ALL. Those who are employed by the shelter, those in need in our community and Charity volunteers are welcome to receive donations when needed. Preparation time is needed to fulfill sorting and loading requirements.
International Missions and Humanitarian Relief
Mark 16:15~ "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all nations."
New donations of clothing, toys and goods are received into this effort. River of New Hope Ministries is dedicated to respond immediately to domestic and international relief emergencies. In addition to crisis issues, assistance is given to those living in the Third World. Many times this aide is given to a trusted 3rd party who will distribute the offerings with the accompaniment of the Gospel Message.
